Basically, this is Instagram's way of delving into the world of "gif". It is a very fun application that takes a burst of pictures and then loops through them. It takes a while to get use to but it is very fun after you get a hang of it. Go download

Twitter to increase tweet size from 140 to 10,000 characters

1:27 PM Unknown 0 Comments

Yeah, you read right, 10,000. I don't know what they are thinking but one thing i know for sure is that it can't be called a "tweet" again maybe it should be called an "epistle". They could have settle for 180 or 200 characters, at least the fun would still be there. I am sure they have a reason for wanting to increase the character this much, they are still yet to release an official statement.

Netflix and Chill now in Nigeria

10:06 PM Unknown 0 Comments

Earlier today at CES Netflix announced it's expansion to 130 new countries. Already it is available in 60 countries, and Nigeria happened to be among the countries. Now my problem is, which data are we going to use to watch Netflix, i mean we barely have enough for instagram et al. The only advantage i see here is that Nigerian guys can finally call up their girlfriends for "Netflix and Chill". I hope they offer us good content and better service.

Let's Talk About: Phone Battery Power(mAh)

2:24 AM Unknown 0 Comments

Hey guys, before we start talking about batteries, you have to understand a simple term called "mAh(milliampere-hour)". mAh is technical term used to measure the amount of electrical charge a battery(phones) can hold. It is also a unit used to quantify how long a battery can last given a constant power draw. The higher the mAh, the longer the battery can last but there is also one major player in this statement, how much power is the device drawing from the battery. mAh is used for smaller batteries while bigger batteries use Ah which is 1000*Ah

If i have a 4000mAh battery on a device and the device constantly draws 1000mA per hour, then the battery can supply current for 4 hours. If the device is constantly drawing 400mA per hour then the battery can deliver current for as long as 10 hours. The thing is, you can't really know how long a battery can last without knowing the discharge rate. We can all agree that this almost impossible on a phone because different functions require different amount of electric charge.

The bottom line is, when you are shopping for your next phone, take a time-out and look at the battery specifications, so as to know what you are actually getting. If you have any questions you can ask in the comment section below.
